The parish was chosen to host the Televised Christmas Day Mass across Europe this year.
The Mass is being celebrated on Saturday 23rd December at 2pm in St Columbanus Church and then being broadcasted on Christmas Day at 10am on RTE One television, RTE Radio One Extra and the RTE Player. (congregation need to be seated by 1.50pm)
