About the School

Scoil Mhuire Coolronan is a co-educational Catholic primary school situated in the rural community of Coolronan, a short distance from Ballivor. Its small-school setting provides a close connection between pupils, teachers, families and the wider local community. The present school at Coolronan opened in 1959. In 2009 the school celebrated its 50th anniversary alongside the completion of an extension which provided an additional classroom and improved facilities. Scoil Mhuire continues to provide primary education to children from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class and is part of the Catholic school community of the Diocese of Meath.
