Led by a Redemptorist Team. The Parish Mission will begin Saturday 3rd October during the 6pm Kildalkey Mass & 7pm Ballivor Mass and also on Sunday 4th October during the 10am Kildalkey Mass & 11.30am Ballivor Mass.
It will continue during the week with the following:
Ballivor
Sunday 4th October at 3pm – Blessing of Animals in Church Carpark.
Evening Mission at 7.30pm each evening with various themes:
- Sun 4th October: Living our Baptism.
- Mon 5th October: Healing of Hurts.
- Tues 6th October: Reconciliation.
- Wed 7th October: Remembering our Faithful Departed.
- Thurs 8th October: Justice & Values.
- Fri 9th October: Celebrating Community.
Following the Mission Service on Friday 9th, there will be Tea/Coffee & Refreshments in McLaughlin’s, Ballivor.
Kildalkey
Mission Mass at 10am each morning from Monday 5th – Friday 9th October.
During 10am Monday Mass, the anointing of the sick will take place, followed by Tea/Coffee & Refreshments after Mass in The Village Inn, Kildalkey.
On Friday 9th October there will be a Mission Walk after Mass from the Church to the Cemetery with a talk on St Dympna, the Abbey & the Holy Well by Olive Falsey, followed by Tea/Coffee, refreshements in The Village Inn, Kildalkey.
The mission will be a grace filled time with a rich variety of themed celebrations during the week. Everyone is invited – people of all ages, those who have been in the parish for a long time, those who are new to the parish, those who are strong in faith and those who are searching or seeking renewal in their faith.
